PA Inspection; is there still a 3k safety exemption law?
I have about 2,500 miles since the car had a full inspection about 380 days ago. I am eligible for the 5k mile emissions exemption, but is the law still around that I can get the safety inspection exempt too? I can't find anything about it on the web. Reason I am asking is because I don't think the mufflers will pass. Car is stock otherwise.

x2, as long as you do not have any exaust leaks and a muffler is in tact exiting either the rear or side of the vehicle(not dumped before axle) you'll be alright. I just got my licenses about a month ago and these were the most up to date requirements at that time.

I have the pypes muffler deletes so you can say I dont have a muffler at all. The pipes come out the back where the stock pipes do. The car is very quiet though due to both factory cats; almost no sound at idle and a slightly louder sound during acceleration.
