all loaded ready to go.
pretty much bolt ons cam onlu\y car.
we shall see.
no bars. i would take the chute off to but its a royal pain!! have to remove the rear bumper etc.
all loaded and ready. just got home. heading out in about 1 hour.

just got home.
1st run off the trailer.
11.3 @ 120
made a little tune adjustment
11.1 @ 122.2
3rd run made a little more adjustment
11.0 @ 122.5
all runs a little fat.
put the 100 jets in with a very safe tune up and went
1.37 60 foot without pulling a tire
had a pig fat 10.1-10.5 af the hole run and went
9.9 @ 133.4
not bad for cam only stock junk yard motor
track got very loose my last pass so i didnt try again.

Is it just 'cam only'? I thought there was some head work done, I remember reading something about TEA?
But heck, even if it's heads and cam with a small shot, it's still flyin'.

timmy tunaaaa! thanks for the help with the tunes, seemed to pick up every time.
ls1lt1, i had a set of 5.3's done by tea but they didnt end up working. i f\got a set of ls6 heads cheep from 860 vinny and he gave me his used springs and i did a valve job. thats it. she spun to 7300 last night. hehe

so yea its pretty much stock ls6 heads and a small 227 cam with all bolt ons. car is between 3100 and 3200 pounds im guessing

oh and did they allow u to run slicks? and is that a new trailer? u get rid of ur enclosed?looks like she enjoys being able to breath good huh?

i probably wont get back to the track till fall now, but plan is to hit it with 100 and dial it in a tad better. im thinking 9.7 with 100 shot, then i will go to 200 and see if i can get the record back

yes, that was with slicks, and no thats lou's open trailer, didnt feel like digging my enclosed out for one trip to the track

oh true. yea thats a sweet open trailer. looks like the car just fits on it from the pics lol i need one of those soon. my dad was telling me that lou bought a big black 2 car enclosed trailer and got a killer deal on it. that must be sweet

they swear its done up. a few of my buddies saw it. its not. just a set up that works well together and was assemble with perfection. right advance in cam shaft, right push rods, right tune up etc etc.
im pretty happy for sure.
felt good to go down the track.
