My new Daily driver!!
I will never EVER buy an American automobile for my daily transportation needs again.
I've always bought American, love American cars, I absolutely LOVED the Cadillac CTS that I just traded in-just can't count on the damn cars, not for my driving needs (20,000 miles/yr)
And to make matters worse, the treatment from Cadillac and GM also in the past after the sale has been horrible in my experience, I know it's not true across the board but in my experience it's been very Very bad. I've had issues with this CTS from day one and 3 years later same problem persists and GM/Cadillac just drags it out putting bandaids on the problem instead of fixing it, at my inconvenience.
So I traded in my CTS last night and got a silver 2010 Honda Accord.
If you would have told me 3 years ago I would be driving a Honda accord because I needed a reliable car, I would've said you were nutz, I would never.
Well I did-die hard American car enthusiast driving an Accord. Thanks GM.

It's hard to beat Honda no matter how you look at it. In my opinion Toyota's arent what everyone says they are, and we are starting to find that out, but Honda makes great products in every single field they pursue, from motorcycles, generators, to cars. Although i think you should have looked at Ford. Ford is making just about the only american cars i would buy these days, with the exception of the Camaro and Vette from GM.

It's scary how much Ford is doing to make their cars better....and how well it's working out for them.
The Jap daily drivers really are the *****. I have a 2009 Subaru Legacy. What other car costs 20,000.00 and comes with standard options like all wheel drive, all wheel disc brakes, ABC, power windows, locks, moon roof, side pillar air bags, alloy rims..... they are better everyday cars. The Chevy Malibu didnt comes with the roof, side air bags, all wheel drive and some other options and it costs more.
For the sports car yea; stay American but for the daily driver...who cares, buy what is going to drain your wallet less in the years to come.
Oh and Subaru re-sale vaule....it's the *****.
