Default Picked up the SS last night...

Finally decided after 3 LT1 F-bodys that i should try an LS1 for once. Picked it up last night, went home to watch the celtics lose and now i am at work so i havent had any time to play with it this weekend, but i did snap a picture for you guys this morning. Has nowhere near the ***** my ws6 had but the mods will be coming soon

2000 ss
6 speed
72k
ebony leather
t-tops
stock except e-cutout and an unknown catback

anyone got an slp ss grille for sale?

How much did you spend on it if you dont mind me asking? I want to get back into the car thing and I dont get the same feeling in the brand new Camaro's as I do from the POS LS1's. I want to get into another LS1 soon, I just like the wind noise, rattles and general feel of how cheap the car is....as weird as it sounds I like the cheesy feel.

ended up paying $8k for it. Pretty good deal if you ask me considering most people around my area were asking $12k+ for cars that werent black (I really wanted a black one) with the same mileage.

8k is a great deal on that car. I want another to drive to work and back and not worry about. for 8k i would have jumped all over it.

Judging on the wheel gap at the front, looks like it has front lowered springs or really worn springs and shocks.

No doubt about that, it must have been one fun ride! You gonna go nuts with the new car or keep it more on the tame side?

pics are coming guys. I have already done a UMI short stick and white classic hurst shift ball, painted the calipers red and the brackets black, and my stainless CAMARO inserts should be coming in the mail today. Also go tint. Tonight i will hopefully finish buffing and waxing as well. There just arent enough hours in the day.
