T56 rebuild or purchase..
well it sounds like the ol stock t56 is finally feeling the effects of years of abuse. getting some goofy grinding noise (lasts about a sec or 2) when i let off the gas and its still in gear. than theres the clanking noise im getting occasionally which allmost sounded like the thing was backfiring but come to find out its also trans related. needless to say with 65k miles on it and countless Stanger beatings it might be on its last leg.
so anyone have any suggestions on who can rebuild this thing for me or i can buy a built one?? i know most of the Sponsors who dealt with these things are either no longer in business or werent very good so im open for suggestions. thanx

You should talk to Rick Kim. I did not personally have him build anything for me but i had the luxury of spending a day with this guy busting his *** on another vette. Guy knows his stuff, very thorough.

GForce in PA.
PM speedracer5532. There's alot of trash talk and "selling" on here. John has found some ways working for MACK TRUCKS to help keep our trans together.
You've seen my car in philly, the power I make... I am on the stock trans
