Default finished up my jet ski trailer project

I started out with a not so mint condition 2000 Venture trailer. with rollers for a 20-23ft boat.

unbolted everything, put new waterproof lights on it, new brakes, new brake lines, and traielr wires on it. ordered up everything and fabbed up the trailer myself. took some measurements from my load rite double trailer and made it all work. used 6ft bunks and just took my time. sprayed it with heavy duty bedliner for a much better finish. Howd I do??

Kevin

Ill see if I can get the other skis on it tomorrow, If I do, Ill get more pics up

How do you get the front one on and off without hitting the bunks or any part of the trailer?

lots of measuring lol. I may end up extending the front bunks down to the rear of the trailer to make it easier to manover it. it just cleares between the winch posts. I still have to finish up some things but its really close.

currently I have a

04 R12X turbo honda that has macboost (17PSI), bov, autometer boost guage

98 GP1200r inlet plate, ride plate, reeds

01 GP1200r stock for now. ill be ordering intake filters, ride plate and intake grade soon

the skis are a blast. the GPRs are the best skis with 1 person on it, so easy to whip around and always gets air.. but the honda is awsome with one or two people on it. much more tame and doesnt really want to roll over as the GPRs do. I should get it really done with all the skis on it this weekend, ill post more pics soon.

Haha, I built one just like that 4 years ago. We have three skis and it was totally worth the effort.

Im looking to get rid of the 98 pretty soon and pick up a ultra 250. they are sick skis. I liike the honda because the gf feels much more comfortable on it too. and when the turbo spools, its OUT lol

My stupid ***... I couldnt figure out why the hell the nose of the ski was hitting the top of the winch post... I tried all different things, moving the bump stop up, down, everything. I gave up last night..

i was backing out of the driveway this morning and I saw both trailers side by side and noticed that the Loadrite trailer had the winch posts pointing towards the tongue of the trailer... as where I have mine pointing to the rear.... then I noticed I def put the winch post on backwards lol. easy fix, Ill have it fixed up this weekend.

Also I ordered up 4 new bunk brackets. I plan on making the left ski sit about 2-3 inches higher for extra clearance between the skis side by side.. and I will have the extra bunks here so I can finish it up this weekend and get to using this damn thing lol

the first ski I used my lift, just like the do at the marine, used two straps around the ski and just lifted it up. but I have a ski dolly that lines right up with the trailer bunks, I can just push the ski on/off the trailer onto the dolly
