Default few detailing pics (wife's G6)

Just a few finished shots. (Don't miss Gene Simmons about half way down )
sweated my @ss off this weekend for almost 10 hrs on this.
2006 G6, about 57k.

General parts list:

Megs car wash
Mothers clay bar
Blue tape
Menzerna *91E (orange pad) *older version of the 203
Menzerna 106Fa (white, ultra light cut)
Menzerna power lock (finishing pad)
Meguired NXT2 (by hand)
Chemical guy's trim Shine (forget the full name)
chrome polish
Meg's tire shine

Car started in better than average condition.
The hood and rear deck got a double pass, but I should have power glossed it to start. Car still has some defects in the paint that I could get out but I didn't want to go aggressive. The rear quarter panels had a lot of scratches on top, got 99% of it out with not too much effort.

All in all I am pretty happy with the results. After doing a final 91% alc/water wipedown, I left the power lock on the car all night and removed it in the AM right before I applied the NXT. I even polished the glass with the 1st compound step, which took out a lot of etching.

Its a sharp little car all cleaned up.

Do you see Gene Simmons in the reflection???

You must be the first detailer I've seen that leaves the dealer sticker on the car

Your right, thats a hint of laziness right there, but hey it was like 90* out and 80% humidity, sucks working compound in the humidity. LOL. I thought about taking it off but I need a heat gun. Next time...

Over on the Meguiar's Website all I do is post Fbody Pics, I am expecting at any time to get a response of

"Is there any other car you do other than a Fbody!?"

The Metallic POP is insane.

I got enough cash from the B-day and some detailing jobs that I am going to be ordering my pads and chemicals. Cannot wait!!

Looks good Dan.

When can I drop off the Forester? Keep up the good work, you know my STi will need it sooner rather than later!

OK let me know, yeah fresh paint is about a 40 day cure period before any work/wax.
