My 4000+lb sedan first went 11's with only 406whp/359wtq... not the fastest thing in the world by any means but not terribly slow either. Fortunately I have a lot more then 400hp now... haha
I'm not sure it will be faster then a Z from a roll though even if power is close... its hard to get that much weight rolling! But something tells me that it puts down 400whp at a lower boost setting... and I bet its adjustable on the fly.

i would think that a 450-ish rwhp car weighing about 3200lbs would have no issue beating a 400rwhp 4000lb car with ease when your talkin roll racing...so hp to weight ratio would play a big part. dig racing might be another story however. gearing and **** might come into play aswell but when there;s that much of a weight differance with the advantage in HP going to the lighter car, all bets are off.

I"ll do a dig race with him to 160mph. Fair for both cars then. My car will be handy capped from a stopper. Or we could do a low 20-25mph roller dirby??? to 135mph aswell Or do both? I'll try anything twice. Lets just get him all nice and ready like and maybe come up for a test spin.

Racing to 160 has got to be the gayest thing I've heard since I heard some Z06 owner speak last Friday night. You know damn well that Buick probably can't hit 160 and if it does it sure as hell ain't safe and it's well past the 1/4 mile.
Fair race would be a marked 1/4 from a dig, and running it back with a 25/35/45 roll to 125-135.

Its all in the name of fun Carlo.... I'll gladly do a pull with anything and anyone for fun. If it comes down to $$$$ as said then I'll pick a race I have a better chance at. I dont have a great chance with a dead dig partially due to the stock clutch. But the car sure can pull up top!!! If you play on nice flat concrete roads that are straight for over half a mile she's just fine IMO. Yea it can sound ricerish but saying a dead dig in a safe area just doesnt happen easily. I say bring whatever and we'll match up to whatever!

You ricer. Race him from a dig to the marked 1/4 like as proposed a few pages back. If you lose so be it.

When were you thinking Zturd? Throw out a date and ill talk to him. I think hell do it for fun. I know youll win from a roll though no suprises there.
Oh and if anyones handicapped in any race its the buick thats heavier and making less power with a stock stalled auto.

I dislike when it becomes a money thing. This racing thing should be for fun, or some stupid stakes like a burger or nachos at the track. If you want to race for a good time, come on up. If not, there's too much drama IMO. This is about friends having a good time. And Zturd. He's a loser.
If it's for fun, my above proposed two races stand.

Thinking October 23rd actually. What do people think of that? I know its far away but lots of things going on, changes to be made to the cars, weather, back to school stuff for some, OCMD in the beginning of October Then people may be tapped out after the week at OCMD. I work the 16th. So that puts me at the 23rd. I will set up a DYNO day cheap at $49.95 for 3 pulls w/wideband o2. I'll get some grub and drinks available to us cheaply.... and then set up some shennanigans on the Canadian Mile. Then go to a local hang out. Set up some interesting runs and or go to the free weigh station and go do some more dragging banging racing pulluh pulluhs!!!
We could always start a list of who is coming and who wants to run who?
