Track carnage for the IRS

5500 rpm launch on nitrous, only about 500hp at the wheels and the stub to hub didn't like it.....see the pics below

Yea i know Chris and he'll be getting a call, these were drive shaft shop axles supposedly good for 1000hp.....

They should rerate them to 400hp. Everybody is breaking them.

My set began to twist after only a few passes.

Damn Anthony, did the same bloke screw together our cars? I feel for you. Everytime we fix them even the new parts dont work right.

I just rebuilt the t56 with Rockland to race spec and also replaced everything from the ARP bolts on the flywheel right up to the tips of the axles. The clutch that was put in burned up in 406 miles and mangled my trans beyond repair.

Guess what just went? the #&$%!@g master! :banghead:

FWIW, Tick just dropped their price on the Tilton unit 50 bucks.
