2010 Procharged Camaro Build!!!!!!

Default 2010 Procharged Camaro Build!!!!!!

Just a little back ground, I had a built 2001 TA with F1 procharger/ th400/FAST/ and all the goodies in 2003. Sold the car and said I would not do it again....

Oh well here goes, My 2010 SS has gone 12.3 with bolt ons and an issue locking the convertor in 4th but hp tuners says they are fixing that.

New parts are as follows.

1. Procharger F1-C 12 rib with 1350 hp front mount
2. ported stock heads-mongillo motors
3. Blower cam-mongillo motors spec
4. intank duel pump
5. Suspension
6. Fuel system
7. bogart rims

After I make 650 on Mogillos mustang dyno, then I will hopefully run atleast the 10.30 I ran 7 years ago. Then I will do the bottom end if it goes....

Ordering the parts in the next couple weeks...I will take pics and keep you updated.

I am for now....There is no straight axle set up yet. Once it is out I might change but there are cars in the mid 8's wit hthe IRS....

Are you sticking with the stock LSD and axles or are you going to spool it w/Gforce axles?

I want to leave it stock because I dont want to spend the money if there will be a live axle coming out. If there isnt then I would upgrade the IRS rear. I didnt the basic suspension mods, but I think I can get in the mis 1.5's with stock axles....

You should but don't expect them to like it... The G8 and Camaro axles are almost identical and the G8's are know to walk esp after one legged burn outs.

Not sure if you have seen it but Gforce has a nice looking 9" IRS package too

Tuning -Trifecta fixes these tranny's pretty good -hint,hint.

Yeah I talked to the guy wit the trifecta, but HP tuners fix came out 2 days ago, finally...

figure an unlocked converter on a mustang dyno making 650 is like a M6 on a dyno jet making 750+.

should be a cool build, can't wait to see it transform.

A D series would do that no problem and it will spool quicker and take less power to spin.

I agree 100% but I did the P1sc to a D1sc to an F1 last time. THis time I am going right with the F1C so that when I build the short block I just need to turn the boost up....Then I can make 950hp

But you are incorrect about spooling wuicker. The F1C spools faster than the D1sc because of the step up ration and the way the boost comes in on this blower...

I don't know a whole lot about prochargers to be honest but it just seems unnecessary to me to run something that is bigger than what you absolutely need, but I understand what you are saying too. I found this same exact arguement going on in the FI forum and people's opinions seem to be split 50/50.
