Reputable shop to install cam Does anyone know of a reputable shop that is reasonably priced in the branford/newhaven/milford connecticut area that do cam swaps. I got quoted 800 to get it done and i am trying to see if i can get it done for less than that. I have been reading other threads that estimate between 400-600 and i am trying to find a place in that range. Thanks in advance
he's in mass his site is www.slowhawkperformance.com he is also a member and vender here. Your frost tune won't work with a cam it will need tweaks and shiftpoint etc changes. do you have all the parts? ie cam pushrods springs injectors etc? He usually gives good deals and runs cam specials time to time.
honestly you would have to ask it's been awhile since I had mine done. He is a stand up guy though and stands bye his work. in the spring come out to the dyno day!

As you sit. A full tune would be needed with the parts you got.
Labor if you have 100% of the parts is $600-$700 and a full tune which includes street tuning,dyno runs and 1/4 miles dyno runs(to set shift points) is $450.
