Default Fireball (WTF)

Fireball, you gotta take a break from that little monster your building.

Why dont you just pick up a cheap F-body throw heads and cam in it come down the beach with the wifey and just get back to having fun with a car. Project X overthere gotta be driving you nuts so just get a fun car to clown around in with the wifey....

I had one and sold it a over a year ago...

I've thought about getting a 4th gen and slapping an 88 on it for cruising....

but it would spiral out of control and I'd end up with two racecars which I don't need

besides project x is getting really close to being "finished"...should have it out in the next 10 wks or so

You could get away with driving it at the beach during the hot rod weekend. I've heard of rail dragsters driving around with flashlights taped to them. Yours has lights.

Thats exactly what I am talking about. I remeber the wifey talking about enjoying her F-body... And watched you all last summer on the sidelines. Just would have been nice to race something keep the blood flowing. Just something after a day at work and you wanted to go down the track and play with the other f-bodys and stangers you could just ride over to the track and vent some. Just because project X is burried for a while it`s still nice to come out and play on a stupid non-competive level. And just have fun knowing if you break something it`s not going cost 10K....
And not have to pulll your hair out trying to redesign something for a one of a kind build and parts for the most part are off the shelf. Keep it simple!!! You already have a difficult one to deal with.

I know once you start to put something together it becomes a disease. My car was to be a street car when I started. Now it's far from a street friendly car.......But I will get a sticker put on it this year and take it out occasionally.

See that, you took half the fun out of the car. If I gotta worry about traffic/heat/rain/or how far you are driving before you take the car out sounds like more of a pain in the *** than an enjoyable car. I only sweat one part of my build and thats launching at the track and dealing with that now.

Sad part is he was racing every where else.... Atco a couple times, Crapitol twice. But he put more street miles on his car than you did the G8 and did a butt load mexican mile racing!

I will easily bet you have more runs on your junk than mine. You have been working so hard to reach a certain goal with the car you should. Just so you know even when it wasnt a problem for me to run at cecil without MPH issues you still would have made more passes than me. My car is more of a dedicatied street/fun car that I have an extremely good time driving than anything else. I dont know how much enjoyment that G8 gives you when its Saturday night and you know you are just going out cruising all night. Just to be out in the car. Somethings a vette can do for you that a G8 cant....

And when I go racing its more or less all about fun. When I go to crapital or atco on a friday night its a given, there is going to be no prep and I am going to struggle real bad looking for traction so I just look at it as fun out with the car. I know I will never run a number on a track with no prep... Its trully just a good time to take the car out.

Chad, Go for the Z06 you will love the car... And just go out and have a great time with it. You will not regret it and you will enjoy it.

I'm sure it would be a blast. Plus they are pretty reasonably priced now.... Just need to grow one of those phuckin money trees so I can swing it. I'm in the wrong business to make money right now... That's gotta change first.

The G8 is fun when GT500,C6,XK owners say WTF... But honestly I don't find just driving to be much fun anymore.

edit I use to see almost every time I went to Cecil... Always was for to watch you give her hell

I will always like the racing. To me it's a serious rush. I would also like something to fill my need for speed on a non race day. The saturn just don't cut it.
