Default Sold the 2010 Camaro SS........I must be getting old?

Yep its gone, gotta be honest I tried to like the car but it didnt hold a candle to MY 4th GEN WS6's or MY GTO's....I just didnt like the car, it steered whell and rode well but it didnt excite me like I thought it would soooooo I am out of the game for a while and collecting my thoughts which for me is a excersice in patience

Here is the car I bought..
Gas is going to 4 dollars a gallon real soon so I went certified used 2010 Toyota Corolla S...I gotta tell you this car is a joy to drive, its very low key, gets 30MPH and has all the bells and whistles I would ever need.

It also runs on regular..

Now the question is, what do I buy to put in the garage for sundays

I keep going back and forth and I wont make a decision til the end of the yr but everytime I think about it I keep coming back to a 4th GEN or another 06 GTO...

Since losing 124lbs I WILL GET A 6SP car
My leg hasnt been better since the accident (93), I am doing 55 minutes of cardio 4 times a week and eating right, hitting the weights and saying my prayers..Philly Fit Mag is doing an article on me too...

I will be back in the game..
Check out my pics of my weightloss, 1 yr to the date (Jan 3rd, 2010 to Jan. 3rd,m2011) I have lost 124lbs..

New weigh-in Feb 3rd, 2011

I am off my soap box

I think you looked pretty good for 400 pounds, but I guess you'll love longer and better at less weight. Awesome job on that btw!

Also, GO FLYERS!!!!

I know what you mean about the 2010. I really liked the style and creature features. But it's a cruiser, great for daily driving I bet. My 3rd gen though with the LS swap is just pure brutal power in a much lighter chassis. THAT is fun, when people refuse to drive your car because they fear what lurks under the hood....that deserves some respect.

Indeed, got some secrets? I went from 240 to 215, I was 155 not just over a year ago....hard to find the motivation to lose the extra weight once you hit a plateau. My dad was a pretty heavy guy for a while too at about 300-320, but now he weighs as much as me!

It's just not fair, some of these guys eating 3 cows a day and not gaining a pound, crazy ectomorphs...

Congrats on the weight loss Joel.

I agree with you on the 2010 Camaro. I drove one for a day and just couldn't get excited about it at all. Maybe if I put a different exhaust on it, or if it had ttops, but it just didn't give me the same feeling as the day I drove my 2000 TA for the first time.

I think my next car is going to be a Caddy CTS, maybe a V if things go well.

I'd go fbody if I were you. I have a 2010 v6 as a rental in floridA and I must say it is a pain in the *** to drive. Windows are all tiny and blind spots at horrible. I just don't think it would feel badass even with a ton if power.

I here ya on the 2010 being boring. My car does nothing for me. Just a shop car. Probably the reason I'm getting back the red rocket to build again.

I have a G8 which is like the new Camaro but has less power and I love it. It's by far the best car I ever owned, which includes 3 Camaros I previously owned.

Correct me if Im wrong but the G8 and the '10 Camaro are COMPLETELY different platforms.

I agree with the OP. I rode in one of those and found it to be....boring. Best word I can find to describe it.

Nope both cars are built on the zeta platform. In fact many of the suspension & brake parts interchange including the rear diff.

To me the G8's are about the same but have the bonus of putting people in the back seat.
Everybody has there own preferences. I prefer to drive my 05 Avalanche most of the time.
