Looking for a ride in high hp rides.

Here is my recommendation.....get a ride in the following to give you a good feel for the different styles:
MikeP's procharged vette
Rick's turbo T/A
Josh's 408c.i. ? T/A- Red car, Fran's customer, from Delaware
If you can get a ride in those three cars, you'll get a good idea of what to expect from s/c, turbo, NA.

You will never, ever get a ride in Nubbz red 408 T/A. While he is a nice guy, I still have yet to get a ride and we're good friends.
That car has been driven three times since it was put together. Hell if I didn't put a gun to his head it never would've made a pass down the track.
Oh and if you want a high hp ride, the cobra is down at rpm. Feel free to go take it for a spin.

If so, please never come within 100 feet of my cars. I've seen that thing get sideways in every gear, cross the center line and stay in it.

Yeah Rick is right, no giggle juice for me. I like spirited back road driving and running the rpms from 2500 to 4500 rpm. Part throttle response and low end torque is what makes me smile. There's a guy looking to make individual throttles bodies which is my dream setup on top of a big cubic inch NA motor.

I've thought about the maggie setup, but from what I've read, they look to max out at low to mid 500's power wise which doesn't leave much room for growth. Maybe that was with the older, smaller blowers. Is there a TVS that's larger than the maggie?

maggie's just dont really make the power you would really want. why not go paxton if you wana go sc.

I'm confused...lol
The nice thing about a procharger is it's a weekend project in the garage. PLUS
To do a motor swap is still a garage project, but realistically, I'd do it over my brother in law's house since he has a 2-post lift as opposed to me having a 4-post. I'm sure I could do it on my lift, it just would take some more ingenuity.
I'd still consider a turbo, but I'd have to be able to retain A/C, it's just one of those concessions I'm not willing to make.
