Arrow thinking of selling my engine set up??

well, im on the fence on selling my lsx parts.
i have lsx block, needs to be machined and cleaned up a tad from sitting, but block is good. have the crank, 10 pistions, cam, solid roller set up etc.
need rods and heads and you have a 8 second motor ready to go.
ive been holding onto it for a while thinking i was going to put it back together but i dont think im going to. i had a blast running the car last year with stock power and cant see myself going nuts on a race set up any time soon.
should i sell it? i could tuck the coin away and use it to put a down payment on a new sled. lol

let me know, and let me know if your interested in the parts.

What do you have for parts, exactly? Brands, usage, etc. Is the crank and rods in good shape, if they're used have they been checked out?

Not sure if you'd be interested in a full 408 motor, depending on what you have and want for it, compared to what I have here maybe there's a possible swap of some sort.. this piece I have here isn't exactly what I need to do what I want to do, you may have a good part of what I'd need to put a motor together that would fit the bill of what I want to accomplish.

Shoot me a PM if it's something that may work. If not, I understand that too.

marco, i will not be racing the car much at all. i will race it in april and maybe may if that, then again in september and october. thats it. might hit the track 4-6 times, so to spend all the coin to throw it together is sill for me. i had a blast with a $500 junk yard motor and when it blew i threw it in the garbage and moved on. lol

chris, i'll take your motor in trade.

tony, yea, the car ran good and i think i can go faster with a stock motor, im going to see how close i can push it to that 8 second mark.

tim, you want it, come get it. its yours. just have to let me drive the car every once in a while.

jl, id sell ya anything you want, but not interested in your motor. i already have a $400 motor to toss back in the car. i dont want anything fancy at all.
no rods, sold the rods a while back.
have lsx block, eagle crank, harland rockers, solid cam, comp solid lifters, 10 dimond gas ported big compression pistons. and i think thats it

Those Polaris fusions are too heavy and slow. My f6 was smoking a 2005 900 fusion

the poo had some fast fussions and some slow. ive also see a lot of people tinker with them and have them slow down!! they dont know what they are doing, and they make them slower!!

the f6 is a quick machine tho for sure
