Default New toy. Should be fun!

Since I live 10 minutes from a big lake now I had to get a new summer toy. 270hp and only weighs 1600lbs so it should be fun. Its a Yamaha exciter 270 if anybody is interested.

My trans is back together as of last week but I need to go pick it up. I need to go get a new drive shaft this week and then I can throw it back together and hope all is well.

This little boat is old so it wasn't expensive. It's in really good shape for a 13 year old boat. I'm sure gas will eat me up though.

everyone allways tells me this that have owned boats....the best 2 days of owning a boat is the day you bring it home and the day you sell it.

This isn't my first boat and there were times with the other one that I would have agreed. At least this boat was $20,000 cheaper than the last one.

The truck is doing ok. The bigger turbo wouldn't stop burning oil so I had to switch back to the little one. The 80e seems to be holding up good. It has done a ton of pulling over the last 6 months and hasn't missed a beat.

i have a 17foot jetboat with a 200merc v6...it is a blast. i have had it for 2 years havent put anything more than routine maintenance in it. they are reliable when you take care of them...it is perfect for lakes and rivers not to mention you can run it in wicked shallow water with no worries...no prop to worry about. will do 54 on gps with two people and a dog and a ton of gear. 57 with me solo so i would imagine yours can do 60+ all day with 70 more HP. What kind of motor is in this one? I always heard horror stories with the seadoo twin engine two strokes but my next one will be the new speedster..twin supercharged 4-strokes 430 hp....haha

This boat has the twin 135hp 2 stroke engines. They are a bitch to get started the first time but after that they seem to be good. They were rebuilt two summer ago so hopefully they have a lot of life left in them.

The new 510hp Sea Doo speedster looks like it would be fun. LOL
