Wow that is impressive! How much power do you think I could see on a headers, maggie 2300 at say 8 psi? Also, how much abuse can the stock 4l65e in the escalade take? I have heard of people pushing 500-600 rwhp on the stockers and having good luck with them. Im not opposed to building the tranny/engine/etc up in the future but would like to have a setup that will give the truck the much needed additional power but wont have me dropping $2K-$3K every 6 months.

Is your truck AWD or 4wd ?

To do it right, you build the tranny and stall the truck first. I blew my 4L65 on 2 street hit's with my turbo at 12lbs.

Believe AWD but will double check tomorrow. Thats good to know. Thing is figure $2K for tranny, $1300 for headers/ory, $6K for maggie kit, install, tune, now im looking at an $11K+ project which im not sure I want to take on right now. If cam/headers are a waste I may just bring it to you for a street tune for the time being and really think about how far I want to go with the truck. I appreciate all the advice Don!

If it's AWD you won't get a dyno # here.

I was thinking about doing Longtubes + Cam + Torque Converter on my 2500HD(LQ4) this summer.

The only thing holding me back is I plow(Streets and Residential) with that truck. I'm just looking for a little more power and don't want to go too crazy.

Any recommendations on Cam + Converter?

I plan on calling you when I'm ready to start, but it would be nice to start gathering parts now. I'm sure my wallet would thank me if it could....

A tight stall and Cam of choice really. Plowing is not a problem.I tow my cars around.
