You have my sympathy Noyzee.

I guess everyone has to learn on their own.

Too all the people that are saying "Its great when you find the right one".

Come back on and post after you have been married, with children, for 10 years or more.
(If you even make it 1/2 that long)

Marriage is just the beginning of the end.

There is absolutely no reason to get married these days.
More people get divorced than stay married. (a fact)
Make sure you have her sign a nice Pre-Nup.
(Unless she is your sugar momma)

You'll thank me someday.

We'll split it 50/50.

Unfortunately I ended up leaving the garage before it all went down though. Figures, one of the few times I leave before everyone else all the good stuff happens.

Nobody said it was easy thats for sure. Marriage is a compromise. There is no perfect person or relationship, its whatever the both of you make it. It only takes one person to screw it all up, if you don't take commitment seriously and build your relationship on trust, respect, and love then you are doomed.

I'm just speaking in general, everybody has a different story. But Marriage can either turn into the best decision of your life or the worst.

More people do get divorced these days because we live in a selfish, I want now, there is always better, throw away world. Pretty sad.

OR you always try counseling.....

Congratulations, Brad.

(Just the thought of you changing a diaper with a big load of baby-pudding makes me giggle like a schoolgirl.)

Congrats Brad!

Ignore the rubbish on here. Marriage is easy if you stick some simple roles. You make all the big decisions like who should be president and what country the U.S. should invade. Let her make all the little decisions like where you are going to live, how many kids you'll have.

lol, thanks guys. (i think) and i bought 9 years with out a ring, so im guessing im good for atleast 4-5 more. lol
im in no rush to tie the knot but i figured she has waited long time for it, and ive spent a lot of money on a ton of stuff for myself and she could care less, so i figured a big rock would make her happy. funny thing is, she would rather that big rock then a big boat. even funnier thing, im getting both. lol

LOL, he's no accountant. Accountants don't buy that stuff. At least none that I know of. I know a few accountants. Accountants are cheap. They will tell you they can never afford anything and everything is a waste of money.
