Default Getting close
Well time for a good update. Got all my parts back from the machine shop last Thursday.

Diamond -8.6cc dish piston

Callies Compstar I beam rods

Stock block with APR studs

Stock crank


Everything was machined, balanced, and bearing clearances checked at the machine shop to all I had to do was put it all together




Using a rod bolt strecth gauge.



Head studs and cam are installed



LS9 head gaskets



AFR 205 heads installed



Got the motor all together Monday at work. So monday night and Tuesday night I got the motor and trans all bolted together at home and ready to go in the car.







Motor and trans will be in the car Thursday night but I plan on hearing it run by Saturday. Still have lots of little things to do before it is drivable but it should be ready for OCMD

Actually they are off my 5.3 truck. But all the manifolds are the same from 4.8, 5.3, and 6.0 just some years had EGR.

Looks expensive!!!! Guys got the house, turbo car, pulling rig, car trailers, couch he's just got it all!!!!!!!! Wheres all the CASH coming from? Did you find AJ's suit case full of money under his special tree?

The turbo is a PT88. I think it should fair well with my stock cube motor. I built the turbo kit myself too
