Lets try this again... I'm going to give it another valient effort...
New engine is almost ready to assemble...
We have everything at the shop...just need to do all the machine work and assembly...
First off...big thanks to RHS for hooking me up with a very good deal for a new block...this was really a time saver
New motor will be virtually identical to old one with two exceptions:
went with diamond billet pistons vs the JEs
going with a radically different cam profile
I've also incorporated a safety feature in my EGT system that will kill the ignition if exhaust temps get out of hand anymore....this should prevent major carnage from this kind of event if it were to occur again
So in preparation for a new motor, I pushed the heap out of the garage, cut and buffed the hood that I had to repaint due to mother nature and then put a coat of polish on the whole car
