Should be ok for what I want to use it for. Only looking for 14 psi or so.

Little update. Fighting overheating problems. Got a clip of the idle.

Think the overheating is cured. New becool rad and fans seemed to have fixed it.

Got my car back. Dynoed 66xhp and pretty much the same on torque. I think this at 12psi. Haven't got to see since tires don't grip so well anymore lol.

The aftermarket radiator was a pain to get to fit right and still doesnt. So while I have it going to get the fit just right so I can fit another fan on it.

First thing I seen was hooks to set the shroud and radiator in is pushing them out way to far. It's causing the condenser to hit the top support where the intake box sits. 2nd problem is the drain plug the goes through the bottom support is about 1/4in off and not letting the rad fit in the groove.

First things first time to make a new shroud for the fans. Got some abs plastic sheets .177 thick and using the procharger one as a guide to craft one out.

Next up is to elongate the drain hole so it will sit where it should. Then I want to sit the rad up more for more clearance so I'm notching the top support to bring it up straighter.

Will see how it goes.

2nd fan is in. Right touching the supercharger though. Least the shroud won't fall off lol

I don't get it. Idling around it gets hot but if I give it some gas like taking off goes right down within like 100ft.

Going to try something after work. Been reading up on somethings and it's really the last thing to try.

Do you have an air pocket trapped in the system? Try putting a vacuum on the coolant system for a while and bleed the trapped air out. Could be steam hitting the coolant temp sensor, since that is one of the highest points in the motor.

I put the car on a step incline and burped it. Brought it up to temp thermostat opened and it came back down again. Being 70 degrees out today that blew my mind. Hoping I got all the air out now. Thanks Alchemist

Now just need to for some reason when I floor it and it down shifts it bounces off the Rev limiter. Maybe need to lower the down shift more since it's has more power pushing it lol. Full throttle in 3rd felt great got it up to like 130 and backed off.

Supercharged cars feel different then turboed for sure. Felt like I was about to take flight lol

Glad to hear you got the system purged. I use a vacuum on the radiator and let it sit for a while to purge the air, but it seems like that worked for you.

As for the rev limiter on the downshift, it could be slipping the transmission, or you could be doing a burnout when it downshifts, or it simply may need to be retuned. I'm an m6, so I'm not familiar with the troubles and details with programming an a4.

Rev limiter I think I might have fixed. Havent tested but the base pressure for amount of torque at even 640lb wasn't even at full pressure(96). So I looked at a stock tune and its pretty different. Calls for max line pressure much earlier now.

Other thing I never had it where the convertor would stay locked with foot off till now. Its great but its seems to be a really good engine brake. Have to figure out if I can get that to a more neutral feel. Don't really know where to look for that.

Efilive and hptuners almost the same but little things here and there that is different.

Fixed a couple fuse terminals so now I have heat and radio. Think I fixed the cold startup with out having to give it gas. Just had to turn the idle screw a little and adjust the friction airflow.

Tomorrow want to put some shims under the transmember bring it down alittle. Had to do it with the old 4l80e as well.

Cold start fixed but I think I have to much idle airflow in it for normal starts. Idles at like 1500 till I think the decay ends then idle comes down.

Think I need to reduce friction airflow. Have to read up on it lol.

Started up today. Battery almost dead but started right up and idled at 1000. Once temp came up came right down to 925. Got it up to temp and thermostat opened and temp dropped right back down. So that seems fixed.

Today going to log the trans and see if my part throttle shift points are off or if it's just not shifting and or slipping.

Brought in to work today and no problems. Think I'm gun shy after all these years lol.

Started up warm rpms climb to 1400 then come down after a few seconds wonder what that would be in tune. Figuring something with idle air flow.

Another thing I can't seem to figure out is I'm coasting above 50mph after a few seconds the timing will drop to 0 and car feels like it has a engine brake. Got no idea how to fix this. Before the few seconds running 30 degrees of timing. Noticed it when loging trans stuff

Havent updated in awhile. Trans was going out in 1-2 got that fixed just this week. Replaced the rad hoses to see if maybe that was causing overheating. Drive home was ok being 90 degrees but I didn't really have it just idling for a few minutes.

Ordered some MT street s/s tires to have it not just spin everywhere lol. Only had in 305 size but that's probably better off then I don't need the suspension so hard.

Oh bought that quickjack lift. Pretty nice but wasn't near high enough to pull a trans out. Itll be a lot easier to change the oil anyway and work on other stuff though.

Knock on wood maybe just maybe ill get to drive it this summer.

New et streets are nice. Even with street pressure in them it held first. Now if I could get it to shift out of 1st at wot will be all good.

The rearend doesn't walk around that bad driving on the new tires. Feels nice and safe to me.
