Will the 06 PCM work. I work at a dealer and can put a stock tune from any year in a PCM. I thought you had to change a fair amount of stuff on the car to get the newer PCMs to work

if he's using the 98 wiring harness it has to be repinned for the newer comp. another option is to buy an 0411 comp that has been internally repinned

If you have a 98 and are switching to 99+ computer its ALOT of work. We have done it before and its not hard but VERY tedious work. We have tuned tons of 98 computers for FI but depending on your power level they are still ok but if your planning on big power its deff better to switch.

Ya that's what I planning big power. The PCM is 12200411. This one still need the pins repinned I believe. Just needs repinned right. Don't think anything else needs to be changed?

you either have the comp repinned(only a few places do it) or the harness repinned(same as above). the other option is running a 99 and up harness but then you still have to deal with the fuel segment

Ok cool I planned on repinning it anyway. I need to add 2 pins for the trans while I'm in there anyway. Hmm might be easyer just getting efilive and doing it myself goingt to need the program at some point. Now if they only made a adapter so I don't have to put it in the car to program
