My buddies truck ran a new best of 10.4 on fuel only there.

still fighting that oil issue....

never made a clean pass...the one I tried also had crank sync issues

root cause appears the motor makes high oil pressure (good for motor, bad for turbo I suppose)

Is it dumb to infuse a restrictor in the line to reduce flow to the turbo? Sounds scarey but something that may help the issue.

Not dumb at all.. thats part of the issue he figured out last night.. Just couldnt find the right adapter to fix it quick..

still leary of trying it. I have the restrictor, but am going to try a catch tank first I think.

Isnt it pretty common to run a restrictor? I know i have done it alot in the street stuff we build. Mostly just use a nitrous jet.

would going bigger on the oulet side of the turbo oil drain help?

Im assuming youre getting all your pipework oiled up from oil pushing through the seals...

Nah best pass was something like 10.1 at 113.. But it also did 113 in the 1/8.... So the pass had potential even in the heat....
