Better off buying a LS car and tossing on LT1 panels.

Ughh that sucks man, glad your ok though. With that much damage its a loss. Your gonna have to start over.

If you want another F-body I'd say give the LS car a shot. It will be tough to find a clean lt1 platform these days. If your still hard up on the lt1 look get the panels and bumper like just mentioned.

There is a 1998 Automatic Camaro in the FS section here in Eastern members, wants like 4-5k and has a rebuilt trans, and if faily clean is quite a steal.

Start over, when i got hit in the back insurance gave me 10k, i took it to a shop who said it would have been at least 9k to fix + i wouldnt see my daily driver for a month and a half and it never would be perfect again. Got a new car, made the right move.

Sucks to hear about this. Your probably better off parting it out and moving on the an LS platform. If you part it out, let me know...

i have too much $ invested in the car to start off new. i thought about parting it out but i don't want to have a car in pieces laying around for months. cheapest and least painful route is buying a roller and swapping parts.

Sorry about the accident. Sell your car then buy an Ls1. Less hassle, no down time.

if i sold it I would probably only get enough to buy a stock ls1 with high miles that runs high 13s. for less i could buy the roller swap parts and be exactly where i was before the accident.

thats a bummer to hear man! if I were you I'd look for a v6 94-97 cause their cheaper and you know the chassis hasn't taken much abuse and the interiors are probably pretty mint cause I imagine they were mostly owned by females

how do you feel about C4's?

i thought about the v6 but id have to rewire the car since the harness is different. that seems like a pain to do especially if i had to take mine out. a new harness is like $600. if i can get a v8 roller with the harness in it already that would be great.
