The same thing happened to my girlfriends car at an Acura dealer one time. There shouldn't be a deductable for the work. The dealer has insurance to cover them selves for **** like this so it should be taken care of for free without your insurance getting involved.

My girlfriend was so mad since her car was only a year old she didn't want her car back. She made them give her a huge discount on a new car and then she wrecked it 6 months later anyway. LOL

2kTrans is right, there should be no deductible and it has nothing to do with your insurance, dealers always have a bodyshop they use to clean up the used cars and new cars they get messed up during delivery, im sure they will just send your car there.. Sucks anyways tho

Damn man hopefully they don't try to screw you in any way. I've heard about this kind of stuff happening a lot, people need to pay attention with all the vehicles around

They loosened one of the side skirts on my wife's new WRX and ever since that I've been getting free stuff, employee pricing on oil changes etc.... The manager still to this day puts her car on the lift himself and walks around the car before giving it back to us. Subaru in Braintree, MA goes above and beyond when it comes to service. I guess it was the last straw for the idiot who kept making mistakes and when I complained about the side skirt he got fired.

Apple Ford in Columbia, MD gives free oil changes for life if you buy a new vehicle. They're pretty good people from my experience. A lot better than some of the other dealerships I've dealt with and heard about. One guy I know test drove an Evo X and he was going to buy it but in the time in between someone at the dealership ran into the car and they wanted him to pay full price for the car and then they said they would refund money once they figure out how much it would cost to fix it after he bought it...

Yeah make sure the dealership pays for all the the repairs. Also call your insurance company and make sure they didn't file a claim with your insurance. I heard of a dealership doing this behind the customers back when something similar happened.

At the dealerships I have worked at the company (or the person that wrecked the vehicle) pays for the repairs

What the hell are they talking about your deductible for? If they try to get your insurance company involved in any way tell them to **** right the hell off, this is 100% on them. You never know what an insurance company will do, they will raise your rates if you look at them funny.

I had the same thing happen with my V, although the dealer did not call me. It was only till I got home and notice two small dimples on my rear bumper. I called the dealer up explained what was up, and they fixed it no questions asked. Hope your dealer is as stand up as the one I use!

I would contact your ins. company just to make them aware. Leave it at that. Most companies have that in their customer agreement that you report all losses. Not saying anything may hurt you.

I would go right to the dealer and grab the car back. Call your insurance company and take it to the body shop of your choice. Most body shops suck and do half *** work to make quick money.

I work at a dealer in the service department. I have seen technicians get into accidents with customer's vehicles. The repairs were fixed in house and the cost went to the service departments policy so either the dealership or the customer's insurance company were not involved..and no carfax report

Sorry to hear that, I would be pissed for sure.

People would be surprised on how many brand new cars are damaged and repaired before being sold. Working on a car lot I seen it happen so many times!!!!
