trans is gonna get cleaned too. I'm pulling the lines and coolers to flush as well.

was just fine metal...not alot, but enough to worry.

 

At work... whenever something like that happens they tell us we have to replace the lines etc due to the fine metal actually sticks/embeds into the lines and over time comes out and kills the tranny down the road.
At the current rate its getting to be almost a $1000 a pass for you now Fireball? (to be clear I am not saying that to be mean, just saying it sucks and I know its part of racing. Hell the Red C5 started to cost that much to make 2 passes with rears for a while there)
Whats the best pass you have out of her so far?

 

5.30 @145 so far (25psi)

best 1/8 mph was 148 (27psi)

I'll probably replace the tranny lines and flush the coolers...

haven't really spent much other than fuel and time on the last few issues...

tranny repair was cheap, my converter should be under warranty, the oil tank I built from scrap laying around...other than some fittings here and there and some small miscellaneous parts, it really has been more frustrating that anything

I think we are really on the brink of the car laying down a big number...
