It's been a tough year for my parents. Last winter my dad had a heart attack, he lost his mother a few months later, and now this. I think my mom is going to have a nervous breakdown.

I was there today, attendance looked to be down by 50%. Most of the vendors were packing up & heading out tonight.

Yup, it's that whole "the sky is falling the sky is falling!" mentality that we always see just prior to big snowstorms as well LOL.

i didnt leave for the storm, well technically i left Virginia Beach and went to Belvidere NC.

We are supposed to get the worst part of the storm down here in NC and i was already spposed to come down, so i decided to see how bad this "hurricane" gets.

power went out and we turned on the generator, got allot of food and drink so im just laying around hoping my car doesnt blow away.

Well, whenever they let people back into cape may I'll be heading down with my parents to help them get back on their feet with whatever happens to their house/property. Not sure I'd take the t/a though.

I'm in Doylestown/Buckingham, and it's pretty nasty right now. Fox just showed a guy in Wildwood and it didn't look to bad. They had water breaking on the boardwalk, which says a lot if you know the size of the beaches there.

I'm at work and the can't leave till someone relieves me and I got about 50 leaks, 5 alarms and the river on our property is about 20 feet closer to our buildings and about 5 from our road. It's going to be a hell of a weekend...

Hm... This storm was a fluke.

Didn't hit too hard up here in Medford.

It's still a bit early yet, though.

It wasnt bad per se here, but right now we are overloaded with calls for service for trees down everywhere....trees on houses, cars, blocking roads, down powerlines on fire. Even had a deputy respond to a downed tree and while on the call a tree fell across the road behind him so now hes stuck till BGE can move the power lines.

Also have a couple working house fires in the area, one involving a 4 person rescue so I cant say its a fluke really.

this is it? I was looking forward to spending the storm out on the boat(they call the fishing boats off most piers when sustained winds are over 70). the rain is all to the east of me so this looks like just a windy day!
hope everyone else fairs alright!!!

Only a couple of tree limbs down, a few split, and some ponding in south central PA. I was expecting a lot worse. The river areas are expected to flood, though. Certain areas lost power, but not where I live. So for me it really wasn't that bad. We've had "typical" thunderstorms that have been worse than this.

I hear that eastern PA was hit a lot harder.

Sitting in my living room now on wifi and have electricity

I live on a main rd between southington and bristol, so I doubt if at all I'll lose power. CLP hates when they give credits back to ESPN, Im sure.
