Cape May/Wildwood not sure about wildwood itself. My parents have a place in Shawcrest Marina right behind the Wildwood Welcome center just on the other side of the Bridge. They road out the storm yesterday like idiots but they said it wasnt that bad at all... And they are right on the water in the trailor park next to the Lighthouse Pointe restuarant.

Hm. Finally have power back. That was some bullshit.
I stayed up until about 6am. It wasn't too bad. Not much rain after I'd say 11pm. It picked up a little early in the morning.
Went to bed, woke up at 10, everything was ok. Woke up just before 2 and the power went out with around 10 minutes of me waking up. Go figure.![Rolleyes](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/rolleyes.gif)
Power came back on about an hour ago.
No damage to my house or property though. Had to use a MightyVac powered off an inverter to empty my sump hole due to no power. No big deal, only did it twice.
Drove around a bit yesterday.. only saw a few trees down. One of which was down town and about 4 feet in radius... laying on power lines. (Wondering if that's what affected my power, but from just off that road to across the street about a mile down from me had power.)
Stupid ***** a few lakes up lowered there lake AGAIN! Luckily no one got flooded. Nearly got up to/in Dennis' from NJ 101.5 house. Looked fairly close. It may have gotten in a little bit. I just saw the water up to/under his deck. The one beach is completely eroded with big gaps. (We had a flood a few years ago in our area. This was nowhere near as bad.) Downtown the creek also flooded, rose almost up to the houses. The woods are submerged around the creek.
Just turned on the news and am amazed how the Northern states turned out! Than saw some Outer Banks photos and wow...
My uncle was up at his house in Oriental the time it came and surprisingly, he came out pretty well.
"Well made it through the storm, Irene was quite a nasty girl, power has been out since firday night, no water either. Damage to my property is minimal. My neighbors did not fair so well. The water surge 9 feet went right through the river front houses. i am on a canal and it did not go over the banks. We were in the eye so it was calm for about an hour, strom lasted 24 hours, now just hot and clammy, time to go start the generator and maybe have a cool drink this afternoon."
I'm sure everything on the Rancocas creek is flooded again.
Hope everyone else is safe and ok. All this on the news is ridiculous!
On another note, I was watching a live web cam of the Outer Banks Friday/Saturday. On Saturday, there was a guy walking on the beach and just relaxing wearing a rain jacket, walking around, not a care in the world. Made me...

We had no power from 10am Sunday morning to 8pm last night. Part that sucked most is we have well water which runs off an electric pump so no running water for us. I actually didnt mind not having power, it just sucked at night. What bothered me was T-Mobile lost service Sunday afternoon and we didnt have a landline to communicate if there was an emergency especially if my Grandmother needed me.

They drove into Pa. and kept on going.
I thought that was strange, since we don't get power from BG&E up here.
