Any good places to bring your car and hang out in CT and not get bothered by cops.

Not many, I can tell you that. If a place becomes a hangout, then it brings undesirables or idiots who attract the cops. Better off just finding some cool people to hang out with and go to different places instead of just one.

Been my exp. for many years.

Very true. There used to be a group of guys I used to hang with and they rented a LARGE storage space and it could fit 4-5 cars easy and made it a bit of a man cave. Def some fun times.

Yea, been there. It is the every other week one. Its a cool show to walk through and then get a bite to eat. Like most turnpike shows you get the regulars but occasionally a cool car that does not come around all too often. If its going to be good weather, get there early. parking can be tight.

Got real old quick. The Turnpike has not been the same since 2001.... and kids were getting cars wrapped around trees. Take a guess on what movie came out then...

I always hear people talk about the Pike "back in the day" which of course I wasn't around for. Honestly it is still the best thing going in this area when it comes to car hangouts, especially compared to where I live.

Believe me bro,I'm38 now I was going there when I was like 11 (older brother and sister). But back then it was just insane. All the cars and the races.Prolly the only reason I like cars and racing.Stopped going when I was around 20.Got busted for racing. Then about 7-8 years later starting poppin up there but no where near the same.I'm only 15 min from the pike.Done alot of racing around there.Lots of good times.
