wasn't head gasket. short block looks ok at quick glance. heads are trashed though. We think COP caused it...time for a dizzy.

Crack in passenger head (across the plug holes)

Sorry bout the bad luck. You have definately been tested over the last couple seasons, but there is a reason not everybody competes at this level and you sir are rolling with the punches quite well. Atleast you got an idea of where the cars at once you get the top end buttoned up again.

I have to ask, when do you hit the limitations with COP? How common is that failure at this level and what coil packs did you use?

seems like somewhere north of 2000hp is the limitation. Just about every car at this level has had problems with it. I'm just the latest casualty. these were the square truck coils.

well...I think I can say it was my fault I think...found the crank sensor hit the trigger wheel and cracked the magnet due to flex. therefore losing timing reference

Was talking to the boss man, he has seen the coils make upwards of 1500+ but as u start to approach 2000 even without a mishap like the signal getting skewed from the sensor hitting the wheel its time to go dizzy or mag...just saying

U r testing the waters Brian, your persaverence will pay off...
Keep at it bro.
