the 8.50 doesnt scare me at all... It honestly is so smooth anyone could drive it and get it to go the same time. Main thing that is alittle shady is goin 165+ with no cage... we are talking about doing a cage in it this winter.

I dont believe you, hand me the keys and ill pay for the gas to run it down the track, ill even use good 93 octane in it.

Hand me about 150k in cash to cover it if you crash it and you can gladly make a pass in it haha

This guy didn't make it past half track, lost control & hit the wall at the last Corvette Challenge.

Wasn't going very fast, but got banged up from just wearing a stock seat belt.

You should at least have a five point harness and a neck brace (if you don't already)
150+ into the wall(s) because of some fluid on the track, etc. won't be good. Just saying

Hes not debby downer... Its just the truth. I understand ANYTHING can happen when racing. Its just part of the game and me and the owner both agree its alittle shady to make it this fast with no cage. We will see what happens this winter

thing about a cage is if its a street car it actually worse to have a cage in it. cage is interior and very hard, can easily crack your skull open on. at the track with a helmet and gear its 100x safer. really boils down to what the goals and purpose of the car is.

street car = no cage
race car at all = cage

out of your mind not to have a cage, shoot, seats and harness to go that fast, but even worse is the fact the track allows you to run it. good part about that is if there is anything left to the body after smashing at 165 mph you can deff get a law suit on the track for negligence

great runs tho, very impressive!!

a friend of mine (ray) many locals know him. he has an 8 second turbo street car. its a farari kit car. he drives it 50 miles to track, 50 miles home, and runs mid 8's with it on radials. but he has a cage in it. a good cage. the car is smooth as silk running, it doesnt spin, it isnt loud, it just runs right down Broadway pass after pass.
2 seasons ago he ended up spinning it in some water left behind by another car and he put the car on the roof. it sled threw traps at over 140 mph on the roof. needless to say the roof was gone, and it almost wore right threw the cage. if he didnt have the cage he would have been riding on his head!!!

call me debby 2
