Great work man, I'm really impressed. Again, all your attention to detail pays off. If you ever get to Cecil let me know.

Best trap is 130. Depending on air at high boost 128-130. Remember thats at Cecil and MIR which are faster than Mason Dixon. I say Doug runs right with it. If he raced at Cecil he would gain at least 2 MPH.
I think his trap speed is unreal but if you talk to him and see how much is taken out in terms of rotational weight and recipicating weight you would see where oin a good day its possible. He doesn't lie or keep out mods when asked. A shame he won't cam it

i don't know Mike....I think I may even have to chalk this up as a wtf. My mph was already good at a best of 126.85 and consistenly in the 126's....but This is a little outrageous. I hate to think I went to the track and made 18 passes(shut down a bunch at the 1/8 to keep them off my back) and did'nt get a proper slip, but that may be the case. The worst part is that threre maybe could've been a 127 trap in it and I don't have that. What baffles me is why it would be off for me and not Phill in his '12 Camaro.

Thanks Larry... How ya been? Did you ever get the clutch figured out?

Mike is right, I do not hide my mods. I do this for fun and if I can help someone else it's just that much more fun for me.

What about the drag car that trapped 125 that got out on me but I was pulling on at the end?
Like I said I thought the 129.1 it ran the other week was a fluke since it only done it once....but after nine passes in the 129-130.xx range it pretty much had to of done it.
No, it means the traps were wrong in BOTH lanes.

Whatever the traps may have been your car is strong as hell regardless. You have to remember that it is getting cooler out and that will play a role in what your results are as well. Even if your not trapping 130 you are certainly over 126 and that will hurt feelings anyway

I haven't had time to get the Tilton setup together and I'm upset about it now because I destroyed my clutch at the track last Friday (not catastrophic but useless all the same). Judging by the weather, and the small remainder of the race season, I may just throw in the Monster race stup I have and install the Tilton in the spring. Your results have definitely added some motivation.

I'm really interested to see your results from another track. Maybe everyones traps are wrong? Hahaha.

I dont doubt Dougs car is a freak, but I think the system may be off at Dixon. I trapped 130 there also, but et was 9.80.... Something's not right somewhere. I ran a 9.6@138 at MIR for comparison.

126mph at MIR sounds a lot more believable.

Need A Camaro - badass car man.

I work at the Pontiac in Leesburg. I live in winchester too. Not to much action there anymore. Would be nice to have a few nice rwd car hanging out again. To many ricers or mouth runners in that area lately. Or nobody at all. sucks

I havent even touched it, been huntin'. I'm going to start into it this week. I need some plates cut to cap the rad support from where I stood the Griffin rad up. Y'all have access to a good vertical band saw? I have templates...

Lol. It's def not like that anymore. Too many cops and ricers. I remember a silver SS racing a black (stolen) TA for his Silver silk shirt on GE road. Who is infatuated with Silver?

It's not heavy, just thinking a bandsaw would be the most accurate way to cut it. It's 1/16 stainless I believe. I have the pieces already rough cut out with a plasma, but they need some trimming before I can weld them in.

Didnt that dude have 2 or 3 stolen Birds that summer?

Yes he did... he crashed that one and he has a girl that was riding with him say she was driving so he got away with it. He stole a vette, couple more f-bodys, and a few mustangs before they caught him.
