Didnt that dude have 2 or 3 stolen Birds that summer?
A bandsaw ain't gonna cut stainless w/o some type of special blade. You need to grind it to shape.

I think his trap speed is unreal but if you talk to him and see how much is taken out in terms of rotational weight and recipicating weight you would see where oin a good day its possible. He doesn't lie or keep out mods when asked. A shame he won't cam it
Reciprocating and rotational weight like what?

I fugured I would update this thread since there were questions about my trap speed. Well your not gonna believe this. This is the first time I've been back to the track since last year. The car is a little lighter and has a little more powa......but not much of either. The real question seemed to be if it really went 130.......well the next question is did it really go 131.3 ???.....lmao I only made 3 passes today. The 1st pass I missed 4th, the 2nd just was'nt clean. The 3rd I put it together and it went a

Went back to make a 4th pass and busted another axle.

I went down last weekend and ran 131mph three passes in a row. A 10.95, 11.10 & another 11something with no better than a 1.75 60'. All in the right lane. My previous best was 129 so I'd say it's close.

Man... I'm missing all the good air... Wasted the 12 bolt ring & pinion at Capital a few weeks ago... I assume that Mason Dixon had good traction, to break the axle...
Great Passes !!! See you this spring !!!

My gains from last year is appropriate to the changes I made. I actually thought it might have dipped into the 10's with the 60' I had. Last year my 60' was a 1.78 to run a 11.17. I thought the new 1.70 would did better with no changes. Sometimes this stuff makes no sense.

Today was weird, my 1/8 mph was down but my 1/4 mph was way up. I did do some aero adjustments in the front, but nothing that should've made a 3.5 mph change.
Very nice numbers and great mph!!! I see 10 sec passes in your future very soon.

Yhanks Black. Unfortunately the ls6 my never see it. At some point I need to put the ls7 in it. But it has been fun squeezing performance out of the 6.

You should get there with the power your making. We got my buddy's not even full bolt-on car to go 11.96 @ 116.2 sat. His car was the black and orange Z28. It made 340whp and almost 360wtq I think.
