Default PK Machine MASS

does anyone have experience with these guys?

Looking to get a block honed, and would prefer not to ship all the way to the guys in VA

Not doubting they can't get it done but in 10 years of building these cars I've never heard of them.

Are there any other local machinists that you could recommend?

I have heard of pk, but have not seen any of his ls stuff. I also heard that he charges top dollar, but again haven't seen any of his ls work, only some sbf, bbc, sbc stuff.

I still use Shawn at Virginia speed for all my machine work. It's a pain to ship ect but we've had a few cars come here from local builders and they just were not right. From very noisy piston slap to the need to run 20-50 oil to keep the oil pressure respectable. When we warrenty our stuff I can not rely on trying out a local shop that doesn't know LSX's when they say they do.
