I'm guessing it was stock and your not. My friends stage 2 11 sti went 13.5 at 105 with a 1.7 60. I really love those cars and it has high 12's in it for sure if he actually shifted fast. It put down like 270/330. It's hard to justify a 32k for a car with the performance/gas mileage and insurance cost though.

Ill stick to my 11-12 sec car for under 14K including mods

. I won't lie though. Those cars are nice. I wanted one for a long time. I guess part of me still does. They sound bad *** too.

i've got a customer that daily drives his wrx. he had it dyno'd. he's putting about 540hp to the ground.

Very much this. My last car was a newer STI, and while I liked it, it was a bit slow, and got worse fuel economy than any V8 I've owned. My insurance jumped a bit with my latest car, but yeah 30k+ for an STI is a rip off.
