Correct, there are very few people that are spectating without participating. I think the weekend rentals are $10 to watch and the weekday rentals are free.

It will be remodeled, with new starting area but I think the surface is the same.

They didn't touch the actual race surface. Just the burnout box and tree section.

If I can get the heads/cam installed in my T/A this weekend I will try and make it out. I want to see how your car runs with the supercharger and TH400. Are the other CCG8 guys coming as well?

I just finished rebuilding the trans and got it in yesterday. Need to do some break in miles, waiting on a fuel pump, and my new tires dont get there until next week. I should be out there in the G8, if not I'll be out there with something else.

Yeah a few other G8 guys plan on coming.

No panties here... personally I prefer rentals when there are less people. But for those looking forward to it I didn't want any confusion. Theres already gonna be a fairly big turnout.

Thanks

Correct, my 6L80 didnt last long with the blower. It started slipping in every gear, clutches were burnt when we pulled it apart. Trans fluid looked like choc milk. We rebuilt a 400 with reverse manual valve body and all that and I installed a B&M shifter. Adapted my driveshaft to a slip yoke and everything worked great, even used the OEM cross member.

I sent an email to Roshan about some tune issues with the trans gone. I plugged the 6L80 TCM back in and the car starts and runs at part throttle but breaks up above that.

Your both welcome to come to the rental! Get a new trans in the Z yet?

Yes, he can. This is not a typical/traditional private track rental where you pay one person who is running the whole thing and then they pay the track, and/or being limited to 10-15 cars.
This one is a 'pay at the gate' type of deal and there will be lots of cars attending.
Just be sure to follow the rules for tires and which lanes to use and such.

As of right now I am planning on attending but if this thing gets to well over 50+ cars I might have to bail.
