First time out with my car to this track...How stricked are they if you run under 11.49 without a roll cage?

 

I ran a 11.15 on a t&t with no cage and they never even looked at me. I think on rentals anything goes. There is Alot of those "record" cars running somewhere with no cage.

 

I'll just say you'll be fine... bring $100 and run your car.


Tested my tire/suspension setup yesterday. Enough traction to unload the front wheels on the street, be nice to hang some air under them on a sticky track! Might need a touch more stall though.

 

No BS here... It does look like they are calling for rain Saturday evening and we are on Thursday It keeps creeping up into Saturday. Just beware those driving long distances and will be on drag radials or slicks.

 

There is a chance of rain at 10-11PM... we'll be long gone by then!

 

We should be there with like 4 or so cars.

My POS ran a new best 11.350@118.66 with a 1.57 60ft

 

i ran a 15.47 and a 13.50, yeah!

 

12.77 @ 108.9 1.80 60ft

Not to bad for my first time out with ET streets and a stock internal ls1(still shitty 853 heads and ls1 intake), 6 speed, with a few bolt ons.

@ 17 psi it held 4k twice, spun hard at 5k then wouldn't hold at 4k either but then I thought something may have been wrong with trans but it seems to be ok.
Oh well, had to drive back to culpeper so I didn't want to take a chance plus I was getting tired of the oil downs. Fun day.

You guys think I should lower the air pressure down to 14-15psi???
