What were your numbers? What type of dyno? Converter locked or unlocked? Or just post up your graph .

I vote for slowhawk, I know a couple other places with dyno's in the MA area, but honestly slowhawk is where you wanna go.

I went to slowhawk, converter was locked. I believe they use a mustang dyno IIRC. They are good but I really want a second opinion, with all I have done I'm only putting down 334 to the rear.. :/ I expected atleast 345, especially from what i'm hearing

Educate yourself on how dynos work... it is just a tuning tool, dont worry about the numbers (unless all you do is bench race).

Really 9hp difference? Dont forget that a mustang dyno is the most real world numbers so I would be happy. Especially considering you don't have a cam. Hell my ss with a cam and the same mods as you put down 363rwhp through a six speed and a 10 bolt. Not the greatest numbers but it ran consistant high 11.9s to 12.0s on muscle.

You don't need a tuner, just a Dynojet.

Lol for what it's worth my car made 15 more rwhp on a dynojet over Don's mustang dyno. you need to educate yourself on things like this or you will end up at a shop who will inflate your numbers and take your money. Dyno numbers mean jack just a number to go off. Take your ar to the track and see how it runs.

I understand numbers are just numbers... HOWEVER. after about three different threads about my power/speed in the 1/4 mile it seems as if something is just missing from the car.. everyone says i should be running a bit faster with whats on the car.. I've done quite a few runs adjusting a few things... I'm not knocking slowhawk at all they do great work, I just wanted to see if there was more i could get out of it

EDIT. i also have ****/dented headers on the car which i know is effecting my exhuast

judging by the mods you have listed- gears/stall/tires are whats missing (gears being the big one)

13.3@106 is pretty damn good for a 2.73 gear if you ask me. throw in a set of 4.10s, a stall and some slicks and see what happens (by the way, you will dyno even less with 4.10s and a stall, but be much faster at the track).

The times are right for the car. Get atleast a 3.42 rear in it and see the times drop.

You will get higher "dyno" numbers on adynojet because I can't even full load a stock car with 2.73's due to the pull being so damn long that I have to drop load which drops the #'s so I don't burn up the motor.

I saw your other thread and a 2.1 60ft is really whats killing your times.

Don't worry bud, Your numbers and times look right for your mods and the dyno it was done on.

Like the guys already said the dyno is just a tuning tool and a mustang dyno is gonna give you a more accurate picture, and be a little lower than a dyno jet.

Get your gears and stall in and it will be a totally different animal. a 2.1 60ft is why you are not running the # but your mph is on point for your power level and setup. You got nothing to worry about here.

Your stall alone will get you in the 1.7x range easy then you will be running under 12.5 all day. My car ran 11.9x with 370 hp (locked 3500 stall and 3.23's) on don's dyno, and 11.50 with 414hp same setup.

My car to start made about the same power as yours with boltons. You need a torque converter, not even a question. It would also be in your best interest if you are sticking with a 10 bolt to simply find a clean pullout from a m6 car (3.42's) and swap the whole rear. Its easy and cheap ($3-400), plus you'll have a spare rear.

Your car made 8 more rwh than mine on Dons dyno. My car made 337 on a dyno dynamics before the stall. 320 with just lid and catback on one dynojet and 316 on a different dynojet.
They are just #s dont drive yourself nuts.

I went 323/337 on Slowhawks heartbreaker dyno with my mods in sig. I like dyno numbers but track times and butt dyno dont lie.

13.2
2.2 60ft spinning 1-2
108 trap

My car can run what higher whp "dyno" cars can do if I can get it to hook.

Weight is another thing as well. The lighter you are the faster you are if you want to go fast think about the big picture. Forget about power and focus on weight distribution, traction, lightweight everything, wind resistance, weather, etc.

With that being said my dyno #'s are in my sig from slowhawk's dyno and i have run a 12.39 @ 108mph. Its all about the total package
