Just got to do a easy tune up, plugs, fuel filter, oil, change diff fluid.
What time do you plan on heading down?

 

Probably head up 930-1000 we can meet up lmk if u have a time or place idea

 

For those cruising down from central MA, there should be a handfull of us going down together already.

I've been fighting some driveline vibes in my car ever since I went to a crossmember mounted torque arm a few years ago. I swapped in my stock tranny mount this week (thinking it help) and F-ed up my pinion angle, so I gotta tweak that this week before the ride, damn thing is so sensitive. I'm getting close to dropping the car off with Don and going over the chassis for tweaking or best options, or just put it back on the tailshaft.

youre gonna have that vibration with that setup ....i have the same in my car but its worse cause i used a poly trans mount im pretty sure you wanna keep it mounted there though so its not on the tailshaft.

I will be there, got my wheels back today from powder coat and hopefully the car will be lowered by then too.

 

Yeah if I wanna go over 65 and keep my fillings in I won't be able too. I'm gonna go mess with it today after work. I had my poly trans mount in forever, not a problem until mounting the TA on the crossmember. My piece changes instant center a bit lower than factory and I know many are adjustable, might be related, I dunno. At this point I a more afraid of damage from vibration than damage from breaking a tailshaft.

 

All of us will be coming down Rt2 to 495, whats a good point to meet maybe before we hit 495, or shortly after?

 

if your coming down rt and wanna meet at 117 mr mikes exit 7 off 190 or if there is a better spot what time you plan on being up there for though ? i wanna be there before don is there lol jk

 

my car is at don's right now getting a trickflow tune up.

should have it saturday if all goes well so i wil be driving down with danno and crew
