There's a few C6s with manuals in there for $43K, not bad for a brand new LS3 powered vette

I think the Market is flooded with these cars, Steals and Deals are out there. Just had a neighbor up until recently sell a Manual C6 Vert, Red with Black top (very common). Nice car just nothing incredible. He waited a while for the correct buyer.

I've seen early C6s and C5Zs around here with low mileage for under 30k. Corvette values seem to follow a pattern. They hold value well for about 5 years, then they decline eventually bottoming out at about 15 years old. Then once they hit 20-25 years old they begin to increase again. It's a solid investment if you don't mind sitting on it through the low years.

The only ones holding value is 72-74 and backwards. Late 70's are showing resurgance. 80's vettes are very tough due to lack of performance. Got better in the early 90's (see ZR1) and hit a stride 97+ (see LS1). Used to be a time where C5 Z06's and FRC cars commanded strong $$$ but that even has fallen by the wayside.

Scary when a 16 yr old kid theroretically could be driving a 2002 C5 Z06 as his first car to school since Dad wanted to be cool and get him a nice car.

Exctly! I saw this teenager driving a C5 hooked up going into the high school parking lot. I was driving a 78 Malibu Station Wagon when I was in high school..and that was back in 97!!

Except for a ZR1 or Grandsport or perfect LT4 any C4 can be had for 10k or less. L98 can easily be had for 4k.

I guess it depends where you are. Around here L98 C4s bottomed out around 3-4k a couple years ago, and are starting to go up now. Average L98 C4 around here is 5-6k now. Late C3s are up to 7-10k, from 4-5k just a couple years ago.

**** $30k would be a lot for a C5Z. You see them all the time now for around $20k, some with as low as 30-40k miles. I am planning on taking the plunge and buying a C5Z next year personally
