Default Anyone with EFI Live in MD area?

I need to change the VIN in my PCM.

I would love to have my GM PCM VIN match my Miata chassis VIN for educational purposes.

Anyone hook a brother up? I have HPTuners but that's of no use right now.

Changing the vin won't allow communication the the GM pcm through the Miata OBD2 port.

Not wired in to that right?

It's wired as a GM port. I can read via hptuners and via a generic OBDII scanner.

The repair station is saying the emissions people need matching VINs. If there is communication issue yet I can prove to the repair facility that the VINs match via their own OBDII scanner, I'm hoping I can get them to write me a 2 year waiver.

I know another swapper in NC failed initially with because his VIN was gm. He changed it to Mazda VIN and passed without changing the port wiring. Don't know if machines in MD are the same but it's a last resort.

From what I've read and experienced you can only enter valid GM vin numbers through HPT. I tried to enter my Mazda vin into mine and got the invalid vin message. Unless I'm missing something.
