Question Rapid Motorsports?

Has anyone had any experience w/them?

I'll be taking my car to County Corvettes for header install soon & Mike from Rapid does their dyno tuning.

Has anyone had their Corvette tuned by him? How did it turn out? Any complaints?

Does he also tune the C6 A6 trans well?

Mikey makes some potent engines and have full faith in their services. Great rep and current sponsor. Can't go wrong!

Great to hear. I still think the $550 price is high though.

Has he tuned any of your cars?

I don't live in PA so no need to, seem a few examples of his work make it out this way.

As for price, that's fair. You may not see it that way but the place your going through maybe making 50-100$ off of that to bring him the biz. I wont speak for him but unless you want to buy your own software, lap top, and purchase dyno time this is the best option.

I've never dealt with Mikey yet but I wouldn't have any issues taking my car to him. I don't recall ever hearing anything bad about his work or tuning.

Never said I never heard of him. I simply never had work done by him & don't know anyone that has.

I simply want to know who I am dealing with first. I don't need my motor blown. I was going to use Chuck @ CoW until I found all the blown motors from him.

I'm very glad to hear all the positive feedback so far after reading all the horror stories about the other tuner I was going to use.

Your in good hands with Mikey. $550 is fair for a 06 A6 Vette.

He tuned my car and built it - I would highly recomend him. Anytime I need something done I would make the hour and a half drive for him. His customer service, tuning, work, and knowledge is excellent.

Mikey did the forged bottom end and redid the tranny in my last f-body. No complaints and he was excellent to deal with.

County Corvette is a total ripoff. They quoted a buddy of mine $3300 for a set of Kooks headers installed on his Z06 haha.

I have the headers in my garage waiting to go on. Just need to buy o2 extensions & then figure out if I want to keep waiting for a used Cora axle-back to come up or just buy a new SLP LM II for the same $ so I don't have to wait anymore.

I was quoted $800 for the install by them. Do you know of other reputable Corvette shops in my area that are less? I bought the car from CC as well & I was treated VERY well. That counts for something with me.

FYI, RennTech is a huge rip off.

550 is an awesome price for a header install, I bet fran would cut you a deal on the tune if the car is already there too.

I've heard Mikey is a great guy and very honest with his prices. He would definitely be a candidate to perform anything major on my car.
