I walk into their shop and get HP envy. God I wish I could afford to have them build my car proper.

Only bad thing about them is how busy they are. Worth the wait though.

Default My Experience

Took my CTS-V to Fran and RPM after hearing great things about them. I had other choices in the tri-state area, but I couldn't ignore their success on the track. Initially the car was scheduled for wear and tear upgrades. Poly bushings for the entire drivetrain and shifter. After realizing the car would already be there for this work, I asked them for a quote on Kooks headers and Corsa exhaust, tune, and have most of the fluids changed. Dropped the car off in late February and had it back sometime in March (delay on Kooks' end manufacturing connections pipes).

I cannot begin to express how happy I am with the car. The drivetrain feels much better, with only minimal "clunking" which is related to the stock clutch and flywheel. And the car sounds great; much better than I ever anticipated. Everyone that I came to meet during that time (Fran, Bill, Roshan (sp?), and Max) were awesome. Bill was quick to answer emails and was always happy to field my questions over the phone.

And, what I consider a very nice gesture, they even washed the car for me. RPM is a solid shop that appreciates the value of "taking care of their customers."

I'll be back soon for another round of modifications. They have my business for life.

Very fair shop. Put in a torque arm for me and as per my request went over the rest of my suspension to check to see if anything was wrong, and even let me watch, explained to me about various bushings and how to replace them. Then cooked me chicken on the grill for lunch. I understand watching is most likely annoying, but I had terrible experiences with previous shops always screwing up my car (lifting it improperly, losing some of my wheel stud covers, bending my exhaust). Their professionalism and willingness to allow me in the shop while they were working, left a lasting impression. I have only been there once, but I sure recommended at least 10 people there.

My shortblock is from there, and happy as hell with it. You wont be disappointed. Fran and crew are good people, do it right the first time from everything I seen come out of their shop.

i had arh 1 7/8" headers and a tune on my 2001 ss camaro m6.
The car is slower after the "tune" then before.
I emailed them numerous times. They say the same thing every time
What was the weather.
From Feb. of this year to my last run in November, lots of different weather
only thing that is consistent is a slower car.

Im not sure what to say. Here is your before and After dyno graph. How it got "slower" is beyond me by picking up 30rwhp and 30rwtq

i emailed a number of times and asked questions.
weather was always your answer. i dropped it off one day for you to check it out. I was told everything was fine. As far as I know nothing was checked.
I asked many times for suggestions always weather was the answer.
I went from Feb. to Nov. a lot of different weather.
If I wanted to go slower I could have let off the gas and saved a lot of money.
It is not as if i went to Atco one time. I went in all different weather and times of day. I waited months before i said anything on a forum. I tried to get help from you about my slower times and trap speeds.
The bottom line is I don't even know if your Dyno chart is accurate as I have
zero faith in RPM. I went to you on the suggestion of a coworker.
I realize you have a very good reputation, i must have had work done on a bad day.

Im not going to argue with you on the forum. I replied to every email you sent. Im not sure why you are running slower. I said weather may have been a factor. We checked over the car when you dropped it off. Took it out on the street and looked everything over. Everything was fine. Feel free to dyno the car on another dyno and post the results. If i had the answer as to why your car is slower with 30more rwhp than i would have an answer for you. Im sorry you dont trust us but what exactly do you want me to do? We did a before and after dyno on your car to show the results.

Im just not sure what it is you want me to do.

Weather is always a factor, hence why they have DA correction. What is your before and after 60', ET, trap?

Could be tires, clutch, driver, any number of things on a M6 car.

One think its not... the shop that did the work.
