Don should offer it as a total package kind of like what Hennessey and Lingenfelter. It’ll be called something like “SHP650”…Slowhawk Performance 650. Offer it as a total package, one flat rate and all of the parts and labor are figured in. I know Don’s already doing something of the sort but it’s good marketing and kind of shows you have a service that can be reliably duplicated and it’s offered to the masses (markets itself as something everyone wants and needs).
Or the "9 sec daily driver" package.

I am always trying to convince myself to stay away from the $FI$ world, but this is not helping.

Thanks Dieso! But theres alot of work that went into getting this car to do what it does, and how it does it. Unfortunately its not something you can just offer as a "package".....Way to many hours of labor.

Dont get me wrong, in this day and age building a 9 sec car that you could drive daily is seemingly "Simple" in most eyes...... ,Forged motor + Auto+ big turbo+ strong rear + light car = 9's..........

But for some reason, too many find out all to quickly that

A: It's NOT cheap , and
B: It's NOT so "simple".

For a car like sams with mostly all new parts would be 50-60k to duplicate. More than half that is labor. I would think about 200- 250 hrs to do.

And 80% of those hours is all Fab work. It's definitely not cheap. By the time you buy all the fittings and adapters you need you will want to shoot someone. What you running for fuel pumps? Twin in tanks?

Yup. 2 intank aeromotive 340's with the second one pressure activated.

Like Don said, all new parts would run you up there! I budget built the crap out of this thing!
