Guess you missed my point. I'll rephrase... there would be no reason to brandish a weapon if your wearing it in plain site. Had the OP been wearing his I doubt this "repo" man nor any one else would pull this stunt, they would move on to a weaker target.

Brandishing in normal terms is a misdemeanor... only a felony if you commit the offense in a school, church, state property, etc. Based on this circumstance there would be no charge since there was a threat on his property.
