This guy is a hack... Bottom line.
It was a waste of money to have this guy "tune" my car.
Very long story short, my car DID need a couple things that he fixed, but the price for all of it was through the fukin roof and I had to pry the af graph out of him at the end and it's WAAAY out of whack and he has gives me every excuse int he book to why he can't add more fuel with 42# injectors and a RT 255 pump pushing 436 rw?!
Don't waste your hard earned money on this hack.

Bayer did the same as I did and just wanted to find someone closer. I wasted my time with 3 other places (one of them J&M) untill I decided to make the 1 1/2 hr drive (no traffic days) to Slowhawk. I think Bayer lives even farther than I do. Its just one of those things

I made the mistake of going there back in 2002 with my car... and I still to this day think that one of the reasons my stock shortblock went, was the 5000 miles I put on it witha 15.5 to 1 a/f... that when Eastside found it when I went to them a year later... it was one of those things like WTF!?!?!?
And, when I was there, they had my car on the dyno, had a loose plug wire causing a misfire (they installed my original qtp headers and welded up the Y pipe since I didn't have the means to to it) so the wire, was their fault... but they surly charged me for that hour they spent fiddling with the car trying to figure out why it was misfiring. 3 dyno pulls with it, and they charged me for an hour and a half of dyno time... due to THEIR error!
I wouldn't let that guy tune my lawnmower. And any time I hear anything bad about that place it NEVER surprises me.
I'm sorry that you had to go there and probably pay them about 3 times what you should have to find that out.
Whatever the distance it is for you to go to slowhawk, or one of the other sponsor's on here, do it. I don't care if it's 5 hours, if that's what you have to do... do it. Trailer the car there if you have to.
The worst part of J&M, is that they're been around for a LONG time, and I still to this day don't understand how they have managed to stay in business. Anyone that knows, stays a LONG way away from that place.

I am sorry to hear you had a bad exp. When I made that remark in the Rear End/Diff section I did expect something to go bad but thats is really bad.
I do not know if he still has that Black Fox Body stang but the story of him getting that car was related to the biz and how you can over charge someone litterally out of a car is just plain crazy.
IMO I would take it somewhere else immediately and get it redone.
