Default Spot correction on 2012 GS corvette.

2012 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport Centennial Edition Carbon Flash Metallic on black, whew what a mouthful!

So I'm gonna ***** some pics out for you Mike (02SCVette)

We have been trying to get this car in our hands for a proper correction since Mike took delivery. But alas we have not been successful, but I will say the dealer prep on this car is some of the best I have seen so there is minimal needed for correction yet.

Unfortunately this car was a victim of a scuff and run at an area golf course that left a sizable scuff right on top of the driver side front fender.

After viewing the car, it was decided that we couldn't let the car leave with just the fender corrected. The car received a maintenance wash and wax, addresses some issues with the matte vinyl stripes, and of course corrected the fender.

After 3hrs the car was rolled back out into the sun, shinning away, stripes looking right, and the fender corrected.

Few before and after pics, enjoy!

Delivery

Shame, shame, We know you waxed the stripes!

What she really is in our hands for...
Looks a lot worse then it appeared to be.
Pre wash... :yikes:

Post wash, whatever did the damage was a soft plastic as some of the "damaged" washed away...

In-process
The wax on the car was in excellent condition and we did not want to strip the LSP off more then we had too. We only tapped off the areas we were working on to minimize the re-application of the LSP.

Taped off and ready for fixin'

Complete ready to be returned

No more wax swirls on the stripes!

And more importantly, no more scuff on the fender!

Thanks for viewing!

Thanks

The C6 GS right now is one of the few cars I could consider replacing the TA with.

Good bang for the buck and it has the looks.
You right a S/C LS3 would be a great setup. I believe thats the plan with this car

In fact I might have been interested in this very car when the current owner tires of it down the road , but I really would like to stick with the M6 in a vette.

thanks again Dan! You guys did a great job on the scuff. I can't believe how ignorant some people are around cars....

And yep, the A&A kit should be on the car about a year from now. 436hp just doesn't compare to my old ride.
