I always head out around 8-9 am on Sunday and have never had a traffic issue. But the day on Saturday was almost pointless trying to get anywhere.

 

I will be rolling out from my house in Oxford on Thursday morning around 9am.. Down Rt10 to 1.. and yes everyone im still alive..lol just been busy the past year doin the rockstar thing.. things are going well and moving fast for the band. anyone ever stay in sunset island? the gated community? i cant find **** for a big house that will rent to a group not family besides in there. i dont want my ***** busted for being loud by some yuppy old bitch

 

I stayed there with family once. It's pretty cramped with parking and seems very family oriented. Very nice but I doubt it's what you're looking for.

 

I was down in OC a few weeks ago checking out the parking for the rentals we were interested in. One ended up being in Sunset Island. Told the guard at the gate what we were doing, and were only wanting to check on parking. Old dude said we had to have a guide with us to go anywhere, and barely let us go inside to turn around.

Lol so I would expect to be hassled about loud cars.

i was thinking about the family thing and its really not family vacation season. i talked to a home owner there and he said it would be no problem and gave me a killer price on the house

thanks for the link. i was looking at some places on homeaway and found lots i liked and people either wont get back to me or will rent to families only.

 

Motor is taking longer then expected so its gonna be tight if I get the car down there for this or not. I lose the entire weekend before because of a bachelor party in Miami so its gonna be close!

Both of my favorite houses are already rented out. Tried to help a tech member get them. THe one on 78th st is amazing for cruisin.
