Anybody from Hampton roads Va? Just like the title says, anybody here live in the Hampton roads area? Looking to get back into the car scene, thinking to go the LS1 route vice my 5th mustang. Trying to meet some folks in the area besides the guys I already know.
I bet I can tell you why he doesn't get on there anymore because most of the people on there are rude and take to much stuff to serious unless it has changed in the few years I haven't been on there.

I am still looking around for a LQ4 or LQ9 because it's going into a old heavier car from the late 70s. Would it be easier to piece an engine together or for a starter just buy a brand new motor then upgrade latter?
I occasionally go to eastcoastdomestics.com to see what kind of meets they have going on. I am currently on deployment, but when I'm home I always go to Cars N Coffee at the La promenade (spelling?) in VB every month on the first saturday from 7am-10am. It's usually a good turnout. I haven't been to the Hardees in Newport News. I forgot the road it's on. I'm sure someone that knows will chime in.
