unleaded race fuel in Lancaster PA?
anybody know where to get some around Lancaster? I'm trying to diagnose a kr issue and would like to add some to see if it is actual kr or false. also any suggestions for the mix amount would be great. thanks

Well, when it comes to mixing actual gasoline mixtures, it's pretty simple. If you have half a tank left, and it's "93", then mixing in another half tank of 100 would bring the octane rating up to roughly 96.5 or (93+100)/2. That's plenty high to see if it's real knock or not.
I had a similar issue this fall. I had filled up in Jersey and the guy put in 87 by accident, but I didn't realize it till later when I had gotten on it in a later drive. I had crazy knock all the time, but put in about 5 gallons of 100 and it instantly went away, or within about 2-3 miles of driving.
I logged before and after the fillup and it was instant how quickly the knock went away.

Thanks for the info. I'm getting a couple degrees of kr from 3600-4800 or so. Timing was at 24 with 2*kr so I pulled 2 from the area and tried again. Same result. Pulled 2 more and still the same. I'm now at 18 through that area and still seeing a degree or so. Tried richening up the area with no change either. I'm really starting to think its noise from the solid mm's
